Who’d have thunk that pigs would end up being a theme of my walks. Here is my latest, a cheesecake shot, seen on rue Chapleau. In case you’ve forgotten my other pigs along the way, here they are again.
I’m a sucker for giant animals and haven’t seen one since my moose spotting last July, so I was happy to run across this one on Mount Royal, formally dressed yet.
Montrealers seem to be going in for life-size wildlife decorations in front of their houses, some native to Quebec, some not so much. The first is on Pie IX near the Botanical Gardens, the second (look for the reptile on the second floor) is in the Plateau. |
