Saw below carved in the stone in a renovated condo development on Waverly, or maybe it was St. Urbain. At any rate-near Jean Talon market. Maybe it's an homage to my father who was a watchmaker. He would have liked this. I'm glad the condo people left it there. That's him below in his office at 231 The Old Arcade. Phone number-Cherry 1-7465.

My grandfather Micheal lauter started the liberty watch case company and I have been searching for a photo of the stonework that was on the factory at st Laurent near Jean talon- looks like you found it! It was closed in the 1960s. Do you have a higher resolution photo or any other photos - I want to send to my parents ?

I have just bought a Liberty Watch Case Company case, really nice to see where it was made, and, who made it. It travelled far...
